Welcome to Probe Industries

Probe Industries began doing business in 1987 with a minimal investment and a single idea. We wanted to manufacture unique, high quality engine components. We do. We also, as a company begun by performance enthusiasts, were determined to provide a staff that races, in the belief that racers understand racers. We did. 

While Probe Industries began as a company that manufactured some components and supplied many others, that concept has evolved. Today Probe Industries is a world class manufacturer of high quality engine components ranging from forged pistons to main girdles, rocker arms, shaft rocker systems, and billet pulley and bracket kits.

In early 2001 market forces indicated a necessity for a thoroughly modern piston manufacturing facility, concentrating on high production manufacturing. Beginning with a clean sheet of paper Probe designed a unique manufacturing process that allows us to machine an extremely high quality forged piston at minimal expense. That quality, along with substantial price reductions, has produced a meteoric rise in piston sales.

In an exciting move, Probe Industries, in August 2002, moved into a new facility in Torrance, CA. This move allowed us to quadruple our manufacturing capacity. Current single shift capacity for forged pistons stands at 12,800 per month with more machinery coming online in the near future.
